Mixing Tyres

Hi All,

Any issues with the above, I have standard spesh Monda tyres which i cannot get any more, my front is buldging after hitting a pot hole so im looking at something like a continental ultra sport as a replacement but the rear tyre is fine. I dont see any need in replacing both but will if i need to.

Only consideration is one of aesthetics; but if you're happy riding a hideous chimera-bike with non matching tyres then who are we to point and laugh

Don't think you need to worry about mixing tyres. You can even have different widths front to back if you want.

Sorry itend to over analyse, i wasnt sure if breaking etc was affected.

Your brake pads contact the rim not the tyre.

Cross ply and radials shouldn't be on the same axle....so for bikes it's ok.
