I know there are probably a number of threads on this subject but I'd like to know if anyone has any recent experience of linking a ride from a Mio Cyclo device to strava ? And how easy it is to do ? I have been looking at them lately and it seems like I can get a good basic model for a decent price second hand.

This was something I looked into myself whilst choosing a new GPS, I think you can link from the MIO website direct now but I think there was still some issue with what gets uploaded. In the end it seemed a bit of a flaff so stuck with garmin as it just works. I think its also a similar story with bryton devices as well ? Pity as you seems to get a bit more for the money ? If looking for a brand new MIO there was a code kicking about on the net from last year which gave a hefty discount on a new unit abd it seemed to still work as late as two weeks ago but I bottled out of it ? Was able to get the HC505 with all the goodies for about £250 maybe less actually ??

I use a mio cyclo and you can upload your rides automatically to strava by linking the account. Only problems i do have is when i use it on the turbo trainer it doesn't send the correct data to strava so i end up putting it in manually. I am satisfied with the mio.

You don't have any issues with missing data when you link a ride to strava then ? Iv read that sometimes it doesn't transfer everything over. Thanks
