Hi Guys,
First post here, but just wanted to share what I found today.

Saw a pump that was in the new argos catalogue today which on paper looked good. Popped along and bought it and I must say it's a quality bit of kit.
It's sturdy (made of alloy), works well and fits on the bike neatly. Well worth it for under £7. Oh, and it does both types of valves.

Anyway, here's the link:

looks like a copy of the toppeak(?) one

I have my doubts about going cheap on pumps, there's a lot of high pressure going on in there with some rough handling

still, let us know how it goes init

i bought a similar pump and found when putting 120 psi in it snapped the valve done this 3 times so bought a bontrager track pump . their ok if you get a puncture on the road put enough air to get you home but to get alot of pressure in the tyre you need alot of vigorous movement to get the psi and thats wot broke my valves so be careful

i think this one is rated max 80psi, so only suitable for mtb. As you say is handy to keep on the bike for an emergency.
