Interestingly should you be a betting sort; there's a horse called Alaphilippe in the 2:30 at Cheltenham today, so could be an unusual double.

The answer is, "no he can't"... The equine Alaphilippe came 5th.

Corals, who I bet with, paid 1st 4... Others would have paid out on 1st 5 (a mate of mine was paid out having backed it).

Unlucky Alf here strikes again... Let's hope I haven't "Jonahed" Alaphilippe (J).

It's just that it's his last chance at going for the monument that's eluded him.

You never know, if enough wedge changes hands in the peleton, they might conspire to let him win
