I recently met cross-Canada paddler, Mike Ranta, who has set an unconfirmed Guinness World Record for the World's Longest Solo Canoe Paddle. I interviewed Mike following the completion of his journey, and the subsequent article was published by RapidMedia, in their Canoeroots magazine.

He's actually planning to build the world's biggest canoe paddle in Atikokan next year.
