I am now the proud owner of a very nice if a bit retro (80's I think) Mike Kowal 531 frame. It's a beauty with all the braze ons for everything and rides like a dream. But who is Mike Kowal and where did he do his frame building? Is he still going and if not when did he pack it in?

Ah - Thanks RAFN. No I hadn't seen that.

Weeford, Staffs seems to have been the HQ. Makes sense as I got my Mike Kowal from the E Birmingham area.

And his Mrs did the paintjobs! If mine is anything to go by she was a master craftsperson.

Also sounds likely it's all stopped given the timeline.....
