Hi all,

I hope somebody can help me with this. I had to change my rear wheel recently. I have a Shimano 9 speed HG cassette and last time I bought Miche wheel which was perefectly compatible with my cassette. This time I found an offer on chainreactioncycles.com for "Miche Team Box Hubs On Rigida Flyer SL". There is a note saying that it works only with Miche hubs but in review section some looser left a helpful hint that my cassette should work with it. Obviously I have made a mistake and I bought these wheels and obviously my Shimano cassette doesn't fit new Miche hub.

Now I am trying to find a cassette for my brand new wheels and I can find only Shimano compatible or Campaq compatible on internet. The only place which lists 9 speed cassette for Miche hubs is MicheUK website but the product is out of stock. Does anyone knows something about that brand and do I need really buy Miche compatible cassette or the Campaq one will work too? I don't want to make another mistake and loose my money and time.

My Wilier was supplied with a nine speed Miche cassette. When I asked the LBS to supply and fit a different cassette (because I wanted to change the ratios), they discovered that it was neither Shimano nor Campag compatible. I ran it for another year and then upgraded to 10 speed – making sure that there were no Miche components.

I am attaching a picture of the hub. All treads are equal except the one on top which is slightly wider with a groove in the middle. Can it work with Campaq cassette? I found in some cassette descriptions Miche and Campaq compatible so maybe this is it. I don't know personally how Campaq hub looks honestly.
