So have I, but I was talking about the ones actually in circulation. There were a few, still, in the late '50s.
Now here's a curiosity (thank you Google!). The silver 3d is still legal tender. In fact it's the only pre-decimal circulated coin which still is. Its present nominal value has been upgraded to 3p. Of course, you'd be silly to spend it - the market rate amongst coin dealers is about £1 ...
