I will be moving in the near future and i will lose the garage as a place to store the bikes so it will be a shed of some sort in a gated back garden with brick walls.
Security wise which would be a better option , a metal shed or a shiplap "security " shed ..

I need room for 3 bikes and a multi gym+ workstand so a metal box i have seen about would not be big enough, the shed thats already there would be for garden tools etc and i plan to add security cameras and floor bolts .

Metal sheds may attract condensation, whereas wood will fare better.

No reason why a wooden shed couldn't be made very secure for bike storage, a possible upgrade to a standard for and frame might be in order.

You could also sink some concrete blocks beneath the floor to give good anchor points for locking up the bikes.

We talked about a new shed and concrete a post to it which would give us an anchor to lock the bikes to. means putting a hole in the floor but worth it for security. Fortunately we can still keep them in the garage. I have also been told the metal ones are prone to condensation.

Plastic? I have one of THESE and it's been great for 8 years so far
Whats the strength like ? something about plastic does not seem right to me but i am open to ideas, the shed i linked to has 12mm wood walls made of shiplap which is tongue and groove so its harder to get into.It will be a while before i even need to buy one so i am considering all options .

I have a steel shed.my thinking is that it could be broken into but that would involve a lot of noise which could be a detterent. Mine came with plastic shandles for the sliding doors. I changed them for some made of metal angle iron with a hole drilled through for the lock.

Condensation isnt a problem in mine ,its on a concrete base,if straight on the earth then condensation would occur.

Not sure what would be best. I have a wooden shed, but none of the bikes in it are worth very much and I have some security measures. You need to check the situation with planning though. I think 8' x 6' is the biggest you are allowed without permission. The situation may vary depending on location.

I will probably go for the security shed i listed in the OP then add some angle brackets to make it harder to get the roof off etc , a door bar and either a hole to the concrete or a bucket full of the same with a floor bolt in to chain the bikes to.I will probably also look at some wall brackets to chain the bike too as well and a shed alarm , dummy cameras or even the baby monitor in the shed .
The wood is 12 mm shiplap with a window to small and to high to break into and i will change the door hinges to bolts rather than screws.
Cheers for the help folks
