Merlin Malt-R

Has anyone ever bought one of these? They seem like an incredibly well specced bike for £599. Carbon forks, Shimano R501s, a full Tiagra Groupset and Deda stem/seat post?!

The 2013 model looks great as well.

I can't find much about them in terms of reviews - can anyone help?

I agree it looks fantastic and is specced really well. Very almost bought one but they wouldn't accept credit under £500, and I wanted to see and ride a bike before I purchased.

Wouldn't hesitate to buy tbh.

I am looking at a Merlin Malt-R now after a colleague at work recommended the company's customer service and knowledge. I had a nightmare earlier this year with Halfords and a disastrous Boardman buying experience and wont be using Halfords for anything other than a windscreen scraper and de-icer in the future.

I would love to be able to track down some independent reviews on the Merlin Malt-R. Have not found much online about it so i am hoping some of you lot can advise. My company will not be signing up to the CTW scheme after all so my top budget on a bike will be £600. I have had a look on Ebay but i am reluctant to buy a used machine even though they may be well appointed. I want the confidence buying new will bring. I dont mind throwing on a few upgrades next year. I am after great Value For Money rather than styling or brand name.
