Mercian Touring bike - 57cm - British Racing Green

For sale my Mercian touring bike in British Racing Green with gold lug lining.

Sizing:
Seattube: 59cm c-c 60.5cm c-c
Toptube: 57cm c-c

72 degree seattube angle (seatpost lug stamped 72).

Built from Reynolds 531 steel tubing, has had a respray at Mercian and the paint is in great shape. Campagnolo dropouts and nice lugwork.

Equipment:
- GB bars and stem - new Velox cotton bar tape.
- Weinmann brakes (calipers and levers)
- Shimano XT front and rear derailleur (running a triple 48/38/28 rings and 32-14t 6 speed block) via Shimano downtube shifters.
- Wheels are Maillard rear hub / Campagnolo front hub on Wolber M58 Super Champion rims.
- Brooks B17 Champion Special saddle
- Fitted with Blackburn rack, kickstand, mudguards.

That's absolutely gorgeous if it was a 52cm I would be snapping your hand off there is no way I would sell it

Very nice bikes, I had one when in the U.K. and gave it to my friend when I left. I think you can probably find a better colour though.


Here it is with the friend I gave it to on a visit to the U.K. a couple of years ago.

Very nice! I had quite a nice one myself, it was just a bit big for me - I actually quite like the colour 😂
Mine was a Vincitore, lovely fancy lugs. It was British racing green with a silver head and seat tube. I was gutted to see it go, to be honest.
