Bought in Early 2011 and ridden around 4000km each year since then. A really solid bike that has served me very well, my first ever fixed and my primary commuting machine.

It is a medium - I am 5 foot 8 and it works well.

It was around £450 new and has had the following changed:

Deore XT (770) V-brakes front and rear - the original On One Frogs Bollox cantis were awful - so the V-brakes are run with Travel Agents and work so much better than the originals.
105 brake levers - again the originals were pretty ropey
SKS Chromaplastic mudguards in impossible to find anymore white - with a rear battery light (all working)
Seat post and saddle changed - the original saddle and seatpost were awful - the saddle was like something off a 12 year old's BMX and the seatpost was propriatory to it with the adjustment being done through a slot in the saddle! I think the original is up in storage. The replacement Charge Chopstick and Spoon Titanium are much, much more comfortable!

Other bits are all as the bike came:

Wheels - on-one hubs (that have been trouble free) and Wienmann DP18 rims - hefty but bomb-proof!
Chainset - FSA Gimondi with 48T chainring
Rear sprockets - 19T On-one and 17T Condor - gives a gear of 67ish and 76ish

Bad bits - the paintwork is tatty. It's not the best paint in the world and I've been guilty of treating it like a cheap frame shouldn't really be treated. Locking it to Sheffield stands with big D-lock has done this to it (the worst bit):

Everything else is pretty solid. The bartape needs replacing and there is some rust on the stem bolt heads etc. (the bike lives outside under cover, but does get ridden in all weather).

It has been a great bike that I've enjoyed very much. They are a surprisingly comfortable bike that rides very well indeed. I believe it is the law that everyone owns a Pompino at some point! You see them a lot as commuters and quite a few on Audax events as well.

I'm in St Margarets (between Richmond and Twickenham), and happy for test rides etc. (bring pedals as I'd have to hunt around to find even a pair of flats as I fitted a couple of spare sets onto the tandem I sold last week!).

£260 is sensible I reckon. Collection only.

Please note the pedals are not included. But there's a couple of pairs of brake pad inserts that I will throw in.

Hi,
I used to one of these, many years ago, but it was in light blue, great bike.

Can I put in a offer of £200,
as I live in Oxford, and collection is a pain for me, but it can be done.
