Mavic Kysiurm elite wheel set

Hi all

Thinking of getting myself a pair of Mavic Kysrium Elites 2011 editions has anyone got any experience of these wheels? and would you recomend them?.

They are very popular and I see them recommended by lots of cyclists as they punch their weight at a reasonable price too. Dont know about the new 2011 type but even a cheaper older set maybe a bargain as well.

Not used a pair but Mavic build quality is usually very good - the freehubs are built to last and the rims/spoke similar.

I have been using the SLs for a few months now and I like them very much. They are noticeably stiffer than the old Aksiums they replaced but fantastic for climbing. So far the front is 100% true and the rear maybe 0.5 mm out of true.

Got 2008 Ksyrium Equipe's on my training bike. Very good indeed, and the 2011 Elites are much better.
