Hello

I am off to watch Birmingham City v Chelsea in Birmingham this weekend.

Can anyone recommend where to park close to the ground? Either on the street or matchday car park?

Thanks.

Whuttabout ... putting the good 'ol cycle in the back of the car, parking somewhere outside of the "insane amounts of traffic" area, and cycle to the football ground? - Like a DIY park and ride - I have done that at big events before - works nicely!

You can park in town at any of the multi-storeys and then catch the train from Birmingham Moor Street to Bordesley (Bordesley's only open on match days).
The train journey's 2 minutes and it's a short walk from Bordesley to the ground. Has the added advantage that when you go to pick the car up you can pop into Selfridges for a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts !

You can park at Olton or Acocks Green; Whitlocks End or Shirley for free.

Stop giving your chauffeur Saturdays off, Maz - you know it makes sense!
Enjoy the game!
Hehe. I am the chauffeur on this occasion! Got 2 others with me.
I think I will keep my eyes peeled for a "Matchday Parking £5" sign.

Blues won 1-0. I wasn't expecting that. Good turnout and atmosphere! Pre-KO pic...
