It doesn't say what he died of but he was only 66, 4 years younger than me, no age at all.

I've mentioned it before in these pages, I remember the pasting he gave Alan Minter, and he won that fight against Sugar Ray Leonard, IMHO.

Minter was a good European level fighter but was totally out classed by Hagler, plus he tended to bleed like a stuck pig. I remember watching the Sugar Ray fight live and being mesmerized, close but I'd give it to Ray for the sheer artistry.
