I rode this route on my own 3 christmases ago.

I even went for a half hour ski at the top. Great ride. Best ever descent. The last 20km into Marrakech is brilliant fun drafting all the scooters.

I remember driving in this area about ten years ago, from Marrakech over the pass to Ourzazate. It would be a fantastic cycling road but for one thing - we saw quite a few wild dogs, at least one of which I am convinced was actually rabid. Quite a few times we'd come around a corner and have a dog rush out and try to attack the wheels of the (moving) car. Not sure I'd want to encounter that on a bike... maybe there are less of them around now, or do you just carry a big stick?
