Marida Bikes?

Hello all,

I was just wondering if anyone has experience of Marida bikes. I have got a Scott speedster s1 that I had an accident on a busted the frame but all the components are ok (Ultegra). My LBS will do a frame build up for me for £40 so have been looking round for a new frame and they sell Marida bikes. Never come across them before so just wondered if anyone had experience of them. I think I heard that they make frames for some of the bigger names as well but not sure. any advice would be great.

I've never owned one, but yes I believe they make frames for Specialized amongst others. In fact they are a part owner of Specialized.

Been making bikes for years, just not that well known in the UK, so probably good bike for the money

I've never heard of Marida, I take you mean Merida. I've never ridden one myself but HonestMan and Jane Smart of the forum have them; they are very nice looking bikes indeed, perhaps you could ask them more questions.

A German company, i believe. Lots of them here in Norway.

A large range of bikes/frames. From bog-standard to very good.
