I've only used My Tracks and only just started exporting it to google. I use a map for navigating, that way I get to stand and swear a lot a country crossroads without being arrested. And if I'm really tired i can always pretend I'm checking my route.

Not sure what navigation tool you could use for importing a route then having a proper 'sat nav' type speech to advise on turnings.
For plotting a route I tend to use ridewithgps.com as it seems to offer a bit more flexibility if you need to alter the route once plotted. I have used bikeroutetoaster and mapmyride in the past.
you can download a GPX file on all three of them but I don't know of any apps/devices to give verbal directions.
(I upload routes to my Garmin Dakota 10 and run them so get the same visual sat nav but no voice)

Give a search on the forum for android app. There's been a recent thread. Sorry couldn't give a link using the iPhone (much better than droid cough)
