Map My Ride problem

Does anyone on here use Map My Ride to log their journeys?

I have used this site for nearly a year and found it to be very useful and great for motivation. Recently I have had problems with the site doubling my mileage on goals set. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?

Set a route up on this yesterday and I've downloaded the Blackberry app to track my route but it doesn't seem to be working.

Anyone got the iMapMyRide software working on a Blackberry?

I've always used mapMyRide, not because i prefer it, but it was the first i found. For me, its been troublesome all the time. My PC processor goes mental when i'm compliling a route, especially if i'm using the elevation function.
Switched to Bikely...havnt used a fraction of what's there, but to just build a simple route...effortless.

Ride with GPS is a good site for creating routes. My Cycling Log is a good site for logging miles

Might have to check out bikely.

It's a shame Map My Ride has gone crackers as I really liked the goal function where I could aim to do a set number of miles in a given time frame. I found that to be a useful motivator.

Personally I use RidewithGPS and just memorise the junctions where there aren't any signposts like in towns (Google street view helps with this)

Does anyone know of a site that lets you map rides that use off road routes, ie tracks and trails?. I tried it on map my ride but it doesn't recognise the trails, just roads. I must admit I've had one or two problems with map my ride trying to send me in directions I don't want to go in, but never had a problem with it messing with the mileage!

I think map my ride has an out and back function, this means that when you finish your route map it automatically creates a return journey, thus doubling the mileage. Look to see if this function has been selected.
