Wilmslow Road is not the nicest road to cycle. Very sad to hear

It's always a sobering thought when there's news of a cyclists down , my thoughts go out to family left to grieve .

+1, the mess of the roads down that bit because of segragated bus lanes and that farcical on road/off road cycle lane around Wilbraham Rd junction make it too much for the eye to take in.

It's actually a great route into Manchester before 8am as most people use the A34/A6. After that, forget it.

It's a road I avoid generally. That looks close to the University Halls

Too right the cycle lanes are atrocious there and the amount of busses down that road is ridiculous.

That part of wilmslow road is vicious I'm always on the lookout when driving down there cos things can change so quick and its an area I know as a cyclists area so better so be extra vigilante
