Bit lumpy round Delamere and Kelsall. Only ever done the 100 miles, but the hills are there for the 100km as well.

Pretty flat really. Route - google manchester 100km route - you'll get routes on bikeroutetoaster, bikely etc for you to look at and download to a GPS device if you have one.

You can't get lost as it's very well marshalled. Just watch for the route split point as you may get a shock if you don't turn off.

Just follow the way the marshalls point . its normaly very well signed , and about as easy a route as you can do , with just the odd slight hill.

Just one tip . if your going by car get there early, as the road to the park and entrance are small and jam up, so get there with the 100milers before 7am or you will be sat in a long jam just to get into the park.

I did it last year and I'm hoping to do the 100 miler this year.

It is fairly flat all the way around. That's not to say there aren't a few rises, its just that there isn't anything particularly steep or long.

The 100 mile event has something like 2000-3000ft climbing. In theory (since in reality I suck at climbing) that is not a lot over such a distance. You will only miss one or 2 climbs by doing the shorter event.

I am still undecided on this, could either do the 100 mile with the forum gang, a local club or I could race a 25 mile TT on the Saturday and then just do an easy 30-40 mile ride on Sunday. Really can not make my mind up.

The 60 turns off before Delamere. At the point of turn off there is a small incline for half a mile or so.

Any links to the signing up page might do the 100 km my self

I believe we're doing it without sign up. Just meeting close to the start.

I've not done 100 miles either, it'll be a good crack!
