So I have about £60 to spend at Halfords as the bike was 10% off.

I do need a lid but there's better ones online.

I will need a saddle bag & a bottle cage/bottle etc.

Possibly a decent pump with gauge.

Get a decent track pump, plus a frame fit one for the bike. Puncture repair outfit with plastic tyre levers and a spare innertube. Lights might be a good idea and a basic toolkit comprising 8, 10 &15mm combo ring & open spanners, pliers and one of those multi tool thingies with allen keys and screwdrivers on, at the very least.
