I am just back from a holiday in Majorca, I have never seen so many cyclists. Lots of people of all ages in Lycra. I saw some good cyclists but some really awful ones too. Majorca seems to have some good cycling lanes, 6 feet wide, well surfaced with no drains in them, far better than the ones around by me!

I must also apologise (again) to the couple on a tandem who nearly ran me over, I came out of the hotel onto a private road between some parked cars (no choice since there was no pavements on the complex), I looked the wrong way and heard "woah", looked around and saw I had stepped out in front of a couple on a tandem, I quickly back-tracked and apologised with a "sorry, I looked the wrong way", to which I got a cheery response in English "that's OK I've done it myself". So if you read this, please accept my apologies again.

Half the DCC are there just now and I think the ERC went out a few weeks ago; the last time I was there I was 5 year old, I really must get back for a cycle sometime.

I hear the MUN are out there, along with the CUWYATA. All it would take is for AFA and we'd have a full house.

It is a very popular destination for a cycling training holiday - my bf and his mate are off there next week!
