Some quick pictures. The new one had a blue clickie switch which changes colour as the battery runs down. The battery is now sealed and has a blue voltage readout which only comes on when you touch the sensor on the battery under the display. The mount is the same as before but I have modded mine to the Electron mount.

around 3m for the first two and about 8 for the second two.

When they first came out, I delayed by a week or so... ended up taking 8 weeks to come - THAT is a stock issue.

2 weeks is semi decent, DX don't hold stock so that is the delay. You will find buying from a stock holder faster (pretty much air mileage + uk, which is 4-7 days) although costing a few quid more.

a lot of people dont like the hope vision one, but when it comes to light output per pound spent i think they are good.

but now it seems the other brands are catching up and "outshining" it.

that seems like a good light for around £50

will the battery pack fit in a bottle cage, or can it only be fit to the frame ?

You could put it in a bottle cage, but it would fall out.

It's meant to be wrapped around part of your frame, you can stick the battery inside a spare bottle if you wish, some people do this although it will take up like 1/8th of the bottle (get a storage bottle, and keep your tools along with the battery maybe?)

Catching up? There have been lights outshining the Hope unit for ages now - the MS for almost 2 years now. Then you have all the torches that you could strap to your bars, even longer
