Hi everyone - I've received notification on this ride from one of my friends so thought I would pass it on here in case of interest.
With Macmillan Cancer support celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2011, this is the Macmillan 100 cycle ride. The object is to get 100 cyclists to ride 100 miles and to raise £100 each. This will take place on Sunday 22nd May, starting from the Langton Brewery, Thorpe Langton. The route will be signed and wind its way through the lovely lanes of South Leicestershire and Rutland (which means HILLS).
Tea and Coffee will be available before the ride, and riders depart between 8 and 10am. Water points will be positioned around the route and the ride will end with a BBQ and beers at the brewery.
The entry fee is £10 per rider, and you can register at www.macmillanharborough100.org.uk
