M520 and E-PDM520L

I'm looking to replace my m520s and I was looking at amazon as you do.

I saw E-PDM520L and M520's. Does anyone know the difference? I assume they work with the same cleats?

Shimano code for pedals is PD, M520 is an mtb (i.e. spd as opposed to sl road cleat system) model code, S is silver and L is black (don't ask me why). Hence M520 pedals come in either PD-M520-S or PD-M520-L. Not unusual for ads to screw up such details.
