anyone heard of m&m sports? basically they sell cheap 'designer' clothing on the net, so I needed a few hoodies and so ordered some off of them. Today they arrived but not one of them was what I origianlly saw on the website, so, I checked the website again and at the bottom of the page it sais 'items delivered subject to change'.
this just really cheesed me off, Ive ended up with 3 crappy hoodies that I dont want, one of them isnt even the right size and I now have to go through the hassle of sending them back
grrrrrr guess it was too good to be true

;)

I'd think that was false advertising - you can't show one thing and then exchange it with something different. You *may* get away with sending a different colour (as long as you'd saif this may be the case up front), but sending stuff which is completely different is (I would have thought) quite illegal.

One to avoid and spread the bad word about!

Not at all if it clearly states on the website that it's subject to change. The same used to happen with those old catalogues like Freemans, Littlewoods etc. You'd order one thing and something completely different would arrive. M&M is just a catalogue company that's got themselves some internetz.

Oh, and there's nothing particularly designer in there that can't be picked up cheaper on the high street.

I've used M & M loads of times without any probs, but also like PP, not for a long time. They must have changed policy.

Oh come on, if I advertised nice new cars for 3K less than showrooms and got lots of orders in but sent them a cheap full-susser bike each I think there would be some comeback... I don't think that putting 'subject to change' would cover me... or would it...;)
