Low-profile helmet

Can anyone recommend a helmet that sits low on the head rather than accentuating the bulbous nature of my cranium? I would spend £70-£80. I like the look of the Met helmets, particularly the Inferno- how does this sit on the head? Does anyone know a Met stockist in the Manchester area, or somewhere where I could try a Catlike helmet?

Your priority should really be to find a helmet that feels comfortable, rather than worrying too much about how you look in it. Most helmets are designed to look as sleek as possible, and once you have a helmet on no on is going to notice the appearance of your cranium.

Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative have a shop in Manchester and sell Met and Specialized helmets. Bicycle Doctor is also very well regarded but I'm not sure what helmets they sell.

EBC would be my first port of call for a helmet - huge selection of stuff last time I was there, and very helpful with fitting & recommendations.

Ha ha yessir I guess so! It's all about how it looks for me really. Not really- but if comfort is more or less equal like between the ones I've tried in EBC today- you might as well go for the coolest looking eh?
