Now that looks good..........what sort of length are the rides?
Are they suitable for road bikes ?

My only disappointment is the rides are a tad on the short side for me. I'll see if i join some of the rides up and maybe add some routes of my own to the ones in this book to extend them a bit.

I like Jack Thurston. You may be interested in his podcast/radio show. http://thebikeshow.net He's very old school. He does interviews on gentle rides, describing the scenery and chatting with his interviewee.
