Looking to ID Coventry Eagle & Mystery bike

A friend recently found a Coventry Eagle … I’m trying to find its value for a fair price. Also another bike with a greyhound ornament …

Any input would be welcome.

As for value the market is on it's backside at the moment so who knows why not just enjoy them ?

Both possibly pre war, the one with the drop bars is a track bike (no brakes) and the other a commuter machine with a SA hub. The hub will have a date stamped on it. In reasonable condition and look to be all original.
Value won’t be great, its really as much as anyone is prepared to pay for them. Have a look on eBay to see what similar bikes are going for.

Bikes manufactured between 1935-55 had to have a white patch on the rear mudguard. I suspect the commuter is later than this, it's also got cable brakes and welded seat-stays. Check the hub for a YY-MM date stamp.
