Looking for cycle partner Bingley, West Yorkshire

Hi All, I'm new to CycleChat and to the Bingley area in West Yorkshire. I'm trying to find a new road cycling partner for regular evening or weekend rides around Bingley, Shipley, Baildon, Keighley, Skipton areas. Please message me if anyone lives nearby and would like to join me. I currently only cover around 15 miles on an evening or up to 30-40 on a weekend but would like to increase the distances. Thanks.

Hi Matt. I regret I'm not anywhere near the Bingley area but will say anyway.

It may be worth keeping your eye on the Informal Rides section of the site for forum rides coming up in the area.

As far as I know there's not a Bingley Cycling Club (or similar), but there are several around the Bradford area

Hi Matt,
There's a few clubs in Keighley; Aire valley and Bronte Wheelers. I think Pennine cc go from the Branch pub at Shipley.
Also there's a facebook social group https://www.facebook.com/groups/splitlinkscycling/ that go from different places every Sunday; only been going a couple of months, check em out!

I bumped into @goodspeed this afternoon. I was going up a steep hill on my road bike and he was bombing down it on his MTB. It must be 2 or 3 years since I last saw him. We stopped for a quick chat and he told me about the facebook cycling group and I said I'd give them a mention, but then I found that he had already mentioned them here himself. Never mind, here's a reminder!
