Looking for a trainer either new or second hand that I can buy for about £50. Doesn't need to have any bells and whistles, just don't want it to fall apart after a couple of months and be too noisy. My next door neighbour works from home and I don't want to be a bother with the trainer noise.

Anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you.

New? At that price, I doubt it.

Or it'll be basic and as noisy as anything which seems to be a problem with the lower end ones from what I've read (I'm sure there are exceptions)

Keep an eye out for a used Tacx. I picked one up for £60 posted

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Look on ebay. They aren't a bad price say £50.00. That's where I got mine. It isn't noisy if you use a mat underneath it and it is quite well made. I've had mine for about 18 months and it is still going strong.

eBay. Trax can be got for that money. I managed to get an elite with Matt and riser block for less than £50. Halfords sell elite for 130 quid but loads of people seem to buy them never use them then sell after 6 months
