I've been looking for a good road bike since a long time. I tried to google some of them which I have been hearing from some of my friends. Found some good one's & one of them was the "Cannondale CAAD8 - 6" ! But before spending money on it I would like to know if there are some more bikes in the similar range or may be little bit higher than this. so if anyone one knows about some more of "Cannondale's" or any other please let me know. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know how old precisely the CAAD8 - 6 model is but basically they are very good bikes. The aluminium frame will be quick but at the expense of a bit of comfort compared to say a carbon frame.

It's easy for us if you give a price range you're looking to spend, then the members who've bought bikes within that range can give you their opinions 
I can spend around 50-60,000 (Indian Rupess)!

It's difficult for us to advise you because most of us are in the UK and we don't know what's available in India or how much it costs. However we can advise that the bike you mention is very nice.
As to ally or carbon, it's a matter of taste. If you can afford it, carbon is very nice, it rides very well. Ally is nice too but ally forks are very stiff and give a hard ride so carbon forks on a road bike a re a good idea.
The most important thing about a bike is that it fits you and is comfortable. After that you can worry about frames but I've had steel, ally and carbon frames over the years and the differences are not huge. If the bike doesn't fit you though, and you don't feel good on it, it could be made of gold and you won't like riding it.

Ignore it there are Indian cycle forums so no reason to post on Europe based ones given there are bike ranges available over there that we are unaware of and frankly I'm suspicious as to what this bunch are upto as they tend to post identikit posts across multiple forums and rather than give full details string it out across multiple posts(note two posts to answer two questions from a single response). There have been at least half a dozen of these posts on this site.
