What a wierd looking personal radio!

I like to listen to a radio low volume when I ride, not sure where I'd be without it to be honest. I understand the risks but try to limit them as much as possible, such as taking one of the headphones out when I feel it necessary and keeping the volume low.

I find I listen to radio four anyway lol.

Any ideas on a good cheap personal radio/mp3 combo or seperates for?

Soz to ask here I'm looking hard to be honest. Found a couple of interesting ones.

Do any of you guys listen to anything on rides?

I have an ipod shuffle for running and on the bike.

For something with a radio, I think Sandisk do a little 2gb one for about 20 odd quid.

But I'd get an ipod and the device you have the link to.

pah hate ipods. Woudn't be much use to me to be honest as I really hate the idea of having to load itunes everytime I want to put music on it. Infact lol, I really hate the thought of downloading itunes to be honest.

I use an an i-pod Touch in the car and would'nt use anything else now

But my Mobile Phone is a Sony Ericsson W910i and that has a fantastic MP3 player on it and a radio ... and its free on a contract

I'm using my mobile as a radio at the moment but it poses two issues for me.

1) The battery on my mobile runs out
2) The battery doesn't last very long

I have a Cowon D2, sounds ace but I wouldn't risk the touchscreen on the bike, so......

I second the Sansa Clip, never heard a bad word against it and supposedly the sound quality exceeds most other players.

4GB £26 from Play, I'll be picking one up.

I have a few creative muvo's.

I say a few, as you can usually get them on Fleabay (256 size) for about £1.50.

They weigh nowt, and have good reception and battery life. Only downside is no mono option if you're in a dodgy reception area.

OK - lied. £2.50
