That's only one, not a set

Also, given you've said you commute or poor roads, you might want more than 24 spokes

I have the wheelset on my bike (they came as standard) - they aren't a bad wheel but I don't really cycle rough roads and Ive had a rear spoke go on me. Decathlon did fix it for free but it's never happened with my Mavic Cosmos on my winter bike which get much more hammer.

I will be upgrading as soon as my budget allows, probably in time for spring next year. I'm not super confident already having had one failure,

If your budget is low try the Mavic Aksium - cheap, solid and only 30g heavier that those B'twins.

As Vicketer said, that's only the rear wheel - you will need the front which only makes them about £30 less than the Mavics.

I LOVE the rear spoke pattern on Khamsin's. My next purchase may be Zonda's or Racing 3's, I just wish they were the same price as the Khamsin's. Not sure about the straight pull spokes and how finnicky truing/tensioning will be with the G3 spoke pattern, though.

You wish that the mid range wheel was the same price as the bottom of the range wheel? That makes no sense.

Fulcrum 7s or whatever they are now. I have had 5s on my bike for 4 years and ride over everything with panniers (and I'm no lightweight) and they have been great. The 7s are the same but slightly heavier.

Actually, since Fulcrum are Campagnolo, the 7s and the Khamsins are probably the same wheel (for all intents and purposes). Another vote for them.

I've recently had to swap the 5s on my 'tourer' for handbuilts, kept going out of true. Then I'm not the lightest, and then adding 10kg of panniers and rack, led to issues. I now have 36 spokes on th rear

Huh, I'm 90kg now, and was 10kg heavier for the first few years of Fulcrum 5 ownership and they are the least troublesome wheels I've had

Why? It makes complete sense!

I wish (wish being the operative word) that the more expensive wheels were the same price of the least expensive/less expensive wheels, for then I could afford them.
