Look Cleats advice

I am still a newbie to cycling shoes having just used toeclips up to now. I have just got some road shoes and I am thoroughly confused in trying to find some cleats for my old Look Arc pedals.

I have been told that Delta cleats are no good on arc pedals. Is this true ? Can anyone advise on where to get hold of some cleats for arc pedals (Look or compatible).

Any help appreciated before I lose my mind and stick with the toe clips.

I'm not 100% certain but I thought that Arc and Delta we're effectively the same fitting except the Arc had a lot of float, for Offroading, and the delta were floatless for road.
