Longest ride today

I'm in training for a charity event at the moment and today I put in 8 1/2 hours for my longest ride to date of 136 miles. I ache like hell but it's all necessary.

I'm cycling to Newcastle in 2 days, running the Great North then cycling back. That'll be 4 days of pure hell I'm sure!!!!! It's for the combat stress charity so it's a small price really

A179 I've never really looked into BMI stuff but I'm 5' 7" and around 10 stone and have a liking for large bike frames

I did my longest ride yesterday too. 80 miles for me. Not a patch on your effort though. Nice one

Wow that's good I have been riding my newbie for 3 weeks after mass weight lOSS and was impressed with my longest of42 miles lol

It's all relative. A best effort no matter the distance is a best effort and worth a mention. I say well done to all longest efforts
