As per the title really. I'm struggling to find a long sleeve jersey that will cover the length of my arms.

I'm 185cm (6'1") with 98cm chest 79kg so medium does for me in most short sleeve jerseys. Bought a long sleeve Pearl Izumi the other day, it was ok in the shop but the sleeves are a little short on the bike and start to ride up. Nice and warm though.

Doesn't need any special features just an autumn/winter long sleeve jersey. What brands do people recommend? Budget is sub £70. Prefer bright colours.

I like Altura long sleeve jersey/jackets but from reading comments on here about Chinese stuff and how its made for skinnyminnys maybe a large one would have arm length enough without being a 'sail in the wind'

Get a jersey with thumb loops like the one below from on-one. That way the sleeves won't ride up your arms and leave you with cold wrists.

Gore, mavic, castelli plus lots of other Italian brands are race cut

Go to some higher end shops to try stuff on

Altura more generously sized so might not be the correct brand

Think it is the Pearl Izumi Select I have.

Have had some success at Halfords today with an Altura Blitz LS jersey in large. Fluo yellow so not for everyone but feel the need to stand out. It's not race cut, but it's not a definitely not a windsock either. Nice length with the rubberised hem at the waist and a full zip which I prefer. Sleeves are correct length, I even found a bike to roll around whilst trying on. The cuffs are elasticated and held the sleeves in place. £39.99 as no VAT special offer.

One thing that did surprise me, and it may just be lower price gear, I tried another top exactly the same and same size, and it didn't fit particularly well and had baggy cuffs! Just shows you buy the one you try on, not the one in a packet.

Thanks for the suggestions, are the thump loop ones hard to find, I haven't seen many. Heard good things about Gore so will look out for some to try on.

The On-One jersey is on sale for 29.99 down from 99.99 which I think is a steal for a merino jersey. Not hard to find at all, just google 'cycling jersey thumb loop' and loads are listed.
