london to paris

hi guys,
i am thinking of doing the london to paris ride for next year,
has anyone done this, or doing it, and is there a lot of traing involved,

at the moment i amd doing 40 plus miles at least once a week and have done several charity rides,
london to southend, cambridge, and windsor, the most is 57 miles nonstop, at 17.5 av speed, would this be ok for paris?

my friend has just done the London to Paris route as a training ride for his London to Barcelona ride. He's done pretty much what you've done.
