Right. I've ordered a load of stuff for my cross bike from the LBS. Everything arrived except my brakes, if they haven't arrived by Saturday I'll need a contingency plan because I absolutely must have it built this weekend.
The plan is: go to London and get some. I'll call some bikeshops to check they've got what I want first, but which London bikeshops are a good bet? I can go pretty much anywhere, but if I can walk from Euston so much the better (Condor?). I want some canti brakes and- on the offchance the LBS has lost mine- a rear cable stop, one of those seatclamp jobbies.
