Can anyone recommend any of the online cycling logs to record their cycling? Looked at a few and the one that looks ok is My Cycling Log.........ie not too in depth.....shame not to record those hard earned miles.

Cheers

I currently use endomondo, before that I was using mapmyride. Both of these are good, but you probably need to have a smart phone to log (most of) your rides for you.

Just call me Chris...
Another plus for Endomondo. I use the pro version but only in order to support the developers, you get very little extra over the free version.

My Cycling Log has a Cycle Chat team. Email Auntie Helen if you want to add your miles to the team total.
There is also cyclogs which is another good one.

I use sports tracker.
Press stop at the end of the ride, select yes to upload and the data is on my account at the sports tracker website before I have the bike in the shed.
All via the wonders of wifi which it picks up when I get home, or mobile tinterwebnet if I'm out and about.
It's very very easy and satisfies the geek in me.

Anyone use Google mytracks?

Just started using it, it records your position, and calculates gradients, average speeds etc (automatically excluding time when you stop) you then upload to google docs which will produce a spreadsheet, with a link to google maps to show where you have been.

My son (13y/o) also uses Google latitude, so I can keep track of him when he is out on a ride, I can constantly see where he is, the other day, I saw he was close, so went out to open the garage for him, just as he was coming down the drive! not bad for free?

Thanks for all the recommendations.

Will go for My cycling log initially. Now I have only an old brick phone and it ain't smart. If it were to be a choice between a Garmin Edge (or equivalent) and getting a fancy phone (and contract)...any thoughts??

Thanks

Tim
