Log on time out?

Is there an auto time out to the log in?

I was spendign a long time on a pm, while watching tv, and when I went to post it I got an error message to say I needed to be logged in to do that.
Fortunately I saved my pm and then logged out and logged back in to post it.

Not as far as I know, no. I'll double-check though.

Did you, by any chance, login *without* ticking the "Remember me" option?

Ahhhh, the little tick box.

It does default to unticked each time whereas the old site stayed logged in.

I'm sure there have been days where I have left the site for quite a while and it was still active and I've never ticked the box before.
