Suspension forks aren't totally rigid, even when locked out. There will still be some movement in it.
 
With lock out the amount of movement will be just a few mm. Check out some other websites before you order, you'll probably get a better deal than halfords.

Eg chainreactioncycles etc...

no idea what your bike is - sorry too lazy to google - but a couple of points to be aware of.
forks are abailable for 26 and 29 inch wheels - make sure you buy the correct one.
forks are availalble with tapered steerer i.e. the diameter of the steerer at the bottom is larger than at the top - you need to have corresponding bearing and head tube to fit it.
finally check the travel of the fork - it needs to be close to what your frame was designed for.
