Lock out suspension

I'm looking at ordering this lockout suspension fork for my specialized crosstrail 2012.

Can anyone tell me does this fork lock out so the fork is totally rigid and is this the right one to fit my bike.

Suspension forks aren't totally rigid, even when locked out. There will still be some movement in it.

But not so much movement that I'm bouncing about like I currently am?

With lock out the amount of movement will be just a few mm. Check out some other websites before you order, you'll probably get a better deal than halfords.

no idea what your bike is - sorry too lazy to google - but a couple of points to be aware of.
forks are abailable for 26 and 29 inch wheels - make sure you buy the correct one.
forks are availalble with tapered steerer i.e. the diameter of the steerer at the bottom is larger than at the top - you need to have corresponding bearing and head tube to fit it.
finally check the travel of the fork - it needs to be close to what your frame was designed for.
