Loads of bolts and stuff

I bought some pedals with the clip in side on one side and flat on the other.
I also got all this stuff with the pedals, but the instructions aren't too clear in which order you are supposed to assemble them:

How do I assemble the cleats correctly?

Right, not sure about shoes where you have to open up the bottom of the shoe but here goes for others.

Turn the shoe upside down. Get the piece at the top of that photo with the way it is facing upwards now, point the sharper triangle like bit towards the front of the shoe. Allign with the holes. Put the double torus into the groove into the top, it's a kind of washer to hold the screws in. Screw in.

I'm guessing the other two bits go into the inside of the shoe, they may or may not be used.
