After investigating the noise of the past two rides (thinking it was maybe pedal/crank/chain) I took apart my cleats and shoes to realise the metal thread on the top part has sheared.
This has been causing an annoying high pitched squeek on hill climbes! Now time to take it back to the lbs in the morning, delaying an early ride for me.
