Liner Shorts

I normally (whilst on a bike!) wear padded tights or bib shorts.

I'm going away for a few days cycling and wondered about alternatives to washing (and drying) tights every night. I think I've read on here about liner shorts for underneath tights; have I just made that up or do they exist?

padded cycling underwear is what you mean I would suggest, yes it exists, One of my best Aldi buys was some lightly padded boxer type lycra ones, lightweight and unobtrusive enough to be worn with normal clothing but maybe not padded enough for a full day in the saddle. Other places do them too, I also often just use my non bib decathlon lycra shorts under other clothing.

you may cop lucky with Lidl's current bikey stuff if they have padded shorts available, cheap and cheerful enough even if you do only use them a handful of times
