Lincoln - Cyclist killed by bus

A cyclist has been killed after he was hit by a bus at a busy junction in Lincoln.

The man was involved in the collision at about 15:15 GMT (25/3/15) on the junction of Wragby Road and Ruskin Avenue in the city.

Nobody on the bus was injured in the crash.

Lincolnshire Police closed the road for several hours while investigations were carried out and have asked for any witnesses to come forward.​

He was a teacher at the school a few hundred yards away, Busy junction. I know large vehicles have to swing out from Wragby road into Ruskin avenue to get round and I have seen a few close calls over the years there with cars not reading the road with lorries.

RIP to the cyclist.
