oh, you do mean a neice to you? A niece to your brother, I thought, would be your kid...;)

Anyway, congratulations all round. He'll be ready for a bike soon...

I've just been on a spree and spent £3 on a couple of cute tee-shirts for my nephew in charity shops. I spent ages trying to choose between them and couldn't. Dear me, I could really spoil him rotten, little darling, if I had more money.

Cheers folks, yes, it's niece/nephew #8 for me, sprog #1 for my bro and his wife... thanks to the interweb, I've seen pics etc already, which is handy, seeing as we live about 300 miles paprt, and I might not see the kid for real till Christmas....

'Parrently I tipped the scales at 10lbs when I was born... just an average-sized fella now though

my mum has had six of us and she said the bigger the better coz they are easier to push out. my bro, who is a child nurse, says it's coz no matter what the weight, the head is around about the same size, and that's the biggest bit, so it doesn't really matter how heavy the baby is (there are some exceptional circumstances of course... like when they are a stone!)

i was the hardest... being only 5lb and a breach... arse first

how did i ever get to be 6ft?

As Bruce Forsyth would say:

Niece to meet you, to meet you..Niece.

Always good to have more small people joining us
