I went out early and was first in the queue outside my local Lidl. I wanted the workstand. At 63 years old I am too old to spend hours bent over my bike. I have always wanted a stand but have been unable to afford the average £80 price tag, so at £30 it wasn't to be missed. I have tried it out now it is at home and assembled. It is solid and well made, and seem pretty stable, which is just as well as my bikes are not lightweight steeds.
My local Lidl in Harlow only had 3 stands on display. Wether they had more out back I don't know but if only three I suspect there will be some disappointed customers.
