Lidl Base Layers

Just invested in a pair of Lidl's "Ski Gear" that has come on sale today...One long sleeved top, and a trouser. Gave them a run out, and I'm impressed!! For the price especially. Today was pretty cold, and with a sturdy headwind as a base layer I thought they were great!...So thought I'd spread the joy!

If anyone knows of any gloves that can withstand the wind, for a decent price I would appreciate it if you could advise!! My hands were so cold after only 20miles I would have been willing to chop them off!!

I bought the bottoms in large and there a good fit, not restrictive at all

Wear windproof gloves and then some under gloves? I got some decent MTB ones from Decathlon a few years ago

I bought the thermal gloves from aldi - seemed gd last week in 4degrees

Are they any thicker/warmer than the cycling or running base layers?

These are both very good but the sleeves are quite thin.
